 Depart Surfers Paradise accommodation to Main Beach and the Spit one of the Gold Coasts best surfing points, to Broadbeach, Mermaid Beach past multi-million dollar homes, Currumbin and Point Danger with a stop for morning tea at Burleigh heads, home of the Quick Silver Pro surfing tournament. Visit a Prize Home where you can see how the rich on the Gold Coast live and purchase a ticket to win the luxury home.
Before returning to your accommodation there is free time in Surfers Paradise. We suggest you visit the observation deck of ‘Q1’ the world’s tallest residential tower, or ride the Aqua Duck, the amphibious vehicle for a trip.

 Experience a drive past cane fields and some of Australia’s most spectacular National Parks and coastal regions from the Gold Coast and down into Northern New South Wales. In the morning we will visit Tropical Fruit World for a tour of their extensive fruit plantation. Try fruit straight from the trees and shop for natural products in their ‘tropicoligy’ shop. After this you will travel to Byron Bay, the most easterly point in Australia which is an art and craft Mecca that is home to local artists and hippies even today. You will enjoy lunch at the Hog’s Breath Cafe before venturing up to the landmark lighthouse. Byron Bay lighthouse is situated at Australia’s most easterly point, and on most days you will be able to watch groups of dolphins and the occasional giant sea turtle frolicking in the waters at below the cliffs.
